93年成立的香港北區管弦樂團，是首隊地區性管絃樂團。逢星期日在北區大會堂排練， 十多年從未間斷，製作了許多受歡迎音樂會。多次受電台、電視台邀請，參與製作節目，和為慈善籌款活動表演。

曾與小提琴家梁建楓、鋼琴家吳美樂、胡琴家魏冠華、古箏演奏家 羅晶，等合作， 是本港目前唯一有能力演奏Paganini 小提琴協奏曲， Rachmaninov 鋼琴協奏曲的地區管弦樂團。

08年4月參加北京國際青少年音樂節，在中央音樂學院音樂廳表演，獲得獎項。

Without any support from celebrities and legislative councilors, the Hong Kong North Philharmonic Orchestra was established by a group of music lovers in 1993. Despite all the vicissitudes, the every-Sunday practice of the Orchestra is never interrupted.
Nowdays, this amateur orchestra has already performed with a lot of top musicians such as violinist Leung Kin-fung, pianist Mary Wu and erhu artist Ngai Kwok-wa. In this April, the orchestra participated and was awarded in the Beijing International Youth Festival for the Performing Artsheld in the Central Conservatory of Music.
